My wife and I have been using this cleaner for a few months and are totally in love with how effective it is. Besides that, it smells great, re-uses citrus peels, and doesn’t attack our home with vicious cleaning chemicals. We feel really comfortable using this spray around our little girls and our dog. If they ingest it, the worst thing they’ll do is make a sour face.
If you’re looking for a natural solution to clean your home with, this recipe is for you.
Items you’ll need:
- An empty, clean spray bottle
- A mason jar or equivalent glass container with lid
- A colander
Ingredients you’ll need:
- Distilled white vinegar
- Orange, lemon, lime, or grapefruit peels (any combination)
How to Make Natural Citrus Cleaning Spray
Put all peels in your mason jar over the course of 2-3 weeks.
And the end of that month, add vinegar to the jar until it is full.
Place the jar away from sunlight and keep it cool (not cold) for 10-14 days.
Next, grab your colander and filter the new cleaning solution from the peels.
Add the solution to your spray bottle and clean away!
